Harry Potter book illustrator Cliff Wright will be returning to Trading Boundaries on Tuesday 19th September for a second drawing workshop. From 7pm – 9.30pm. All welcome.
Cliff’s work spans many years and includes paintings for children’s books, including Harry Potter, greetings cards, posters and prints, magazines and advertising projects.
“For the most part we all draw that which we think we see. To move beyond the thinking mind is to explore what ‘seeing’ really means, where the mind is mastered and the heart, body and spirit are united. From this place of connection we find that the drawn line becomes more authentic, more living and captures an elusive, mysterious, but instantly recognisable essence. Is it necessary to be a ‘good’ or ‘experienced’ drawer? No, absolutely not. Just bring an open mind and a desire to explore…
“Teaching is something I have learnt an untold amount from. Through Nature of Seeing workshops and retreats it has been my delight to help discover for many individuals and groups, the source of creativity that lies within us all.” says Cliff.
We supply pencils and paper. Just bring yourselves!
All levels welcome.
