MINI FESTIVAL - SATURDAY
On Saturday 18th, join us for our mini festival of Rocking Horse Music Club and very special guests from 4pm - close! Not only will the band be showcasing their rock opera 'Circus of Wire Dolls' but for only the second time ever will perform highlights from Mike Rutherford's Small Creeps Day with original singer Noel McCalla. There will also be live sessions from: Amy Birks, John Hackett, Noel McCalla and The Beggs Sisters with Nick Beggs and Tim Bowness.
Circus of Wire Dolls tells the story of a man who creates a miniature circus out of wire, string, and cloth. In his imagination, the performers of his circus come to life with human thoughts and emotions. As the circus plays out, the performers each tell their own stories, revealing the aspirations, fears, and thoughts of their creator, looking back at his life, his work, the people who entered and exited his world, his successes, his failures, his regrets.” But it’s really about a man looking back at his life, his work, the people who entered and exited his world, his successes, his failures, his regrets.”
